TRISSANA SKI LODGE

Trissana Ski Lodge is situated right in the snow at North Perisher in the Kosciuszko National Park.

The Lodge is club owned and was built in 1965 with a lot of the construction carried out by club members and friends. The Trissana Board consists of 7 Directors who meet monthly.

The Objectives of the Club:

The promotion of recreation among members by encouraging, developing facilities for, and fostering interest in the sport of skiing and by providing and maintaining premises and facilities for members, their families and friends.  Encouraging interest in all snow sports including downhill and nordic skiing, snowboarding, and in the summer months, mountain bike riding, cross-country running and bushwalking.

Trissana welcomes the use of the lodge by Members and Associates (non-members) throughout the year, and guests of members are also warmly invited to stay at the lodge.  The lodge is not open to the general public.

Ski-In Ski-out

The lodge is on a hill, about one kilometre from Centre Valley and enjoys beautiful views of the Perisher River, and the main range, as well as a view back to the main valley.  In normal snow conditions, the lodge gives direct ski-in ski-out access to the whole 50+ lift Perisher Blue ski area.  Guests can ski straight down to the North Perisher T-bar or to the Interceptor quad chair.  These lifts provide easy access to Centre Valley or to Blue Cow and Guthega.

Access

Access to the lodge from Sydney is by road to Bullocks Flat on the Thredbo road.  There is free parking at the Skitube station for overnight stays or longer periods.  The Skitube is taken to Perisher, then by Hans Oversnow snowcat transport to the lodge door.
